Leasing Agreement Terms and Conditions

  • The lessee must be in possession of a valid driver’s license at the time of renting or leasing a car. 
  • Rainbow Car Rental will cover the monthly maintenance costs such as insurance, car maintenance and taxes, but the lessee is directly responsible for any damage incurred while under the leasing contract.
  • Only the lessee mentioned in the contract is authorized to drive the vehicle, as well as the person(s) mentioned in the agreement as additional driver. In case an accident was to take place, and the person operating the vehicle at the time of the accident is not mentioned in the agreement as primary driver or additional driver the insurance becomes invalid (lapses) and the hirer is completely responsible for all direct and indirect loss.
  • If the driver violates the speed limit and causes any kind of misfortune the insurance will be invalid. Driving above the speed limit not permitted, and you must take precautions when driving on wet surfaces.
  • Damage and losses are charged conform dealer price.
  • Driving off road and on white sand is not permitted. The lessee will be held accountable for any damages incurred to the vehicle. 
  • In case of an accident call Compliance & Forensic services Caribbean at TEL: 199 and Rainbow Car Rental +5999 5108424. We will help you obtain the necessary information. An accident report must be filled out. 
  • We will help you between office hours discharged battery, flat tires (cost not included) opening or lock doors cost US$10,-/after office hours $20,-     
  • The lessee is required to return the vehicle as agreed, if there is any change about time, date or place, notify us at +5999 5108424. 
  • The lessee is at all times directly responsible to Rainbow Car Rental for all damage., towing, timeless loss etc. of the rented vehicle and hereby declare to pay Rainbow Car Rental this amount before he or she leaves the island.
